Well the kids now would like to have a new Mom and her name is G'ma. They call her the "fun maker!" And that she is! Eric and I went to Houston to help Caroline stain and paint her garage, so the "fun-maker" came to the rescue to babysit. Lots of fun activities were planned... horseback riding, Heritage Park "this is the place," puzzles, a reception, fun with Aunt Fonnie, lots of reading, and of course a shopping trip. I don't think the kids wanted us to come back. Thanks Mom for a wonderful time with the kids, they love you so much!
Riding the Tram to the top!

After the tram, we got to ride in the 4x4.

Yes, we made it to the top! Where are the horses?

Riding the horses, the best trail ride ever!

Puzzle Time! Aw, the last pieces go in.

This is the Place, Heritage Park

Bronco Breakfast just like the pioneers.

Making homemade candles, the kids all loved this activity.

Oh the petting zoo, and Kenzie the animal whisperer.

Corbyn picking up after the horses, won her the first pony ride!

Playing Pioneer Dress-up.

The girls learned to dance just like the pioneers did.

Calvin's unique idea...50 ways to wear a Neckerchief.

Bro. Hinckley's sister in the home they were raised in.

Leather making, a very fun project.

The Hat shop: All the hats are made by hand and G'ma and the kids got to try them on. I don't know who had more fun...G'ma or the kids?

The old fashioned water pump...don't we have it so easy!

Early saints settled the land and worked with the Indians in the area. This Indian told stories about his culture in a Logan House.

Pull that handcart. I am not sure they are quite tough enough, yet!

Calvin sure liked the stilts!

The girls learned how they prepare the wool for making thread.

Brigham Young's House

The girl's just loved going to the Quinn/Cosgrave reception and seeing the "Beautiful Bride!"
