Grammie came for a visit

Grammie came to Utah and we were so excited to se her. We went to Aunt Sally's to see her and I had to pry them away from their cousins, Kayley and Lizzie when it was time to go. We love to see Gram and definatley can't get enough of her. We can't wait until April for her to come again. We love you Grammie!

Chloe lovin' Christmas!

I couldn't pick which ones to put on the blog so here is all three! She danced to these penguins over and over throughout the Christmas holidays! And then she pulled them out of the Christmas tubs and played witht them through January! She does love her Christmas music!

Our annual Christmas Tree Picking!

The kids were so excited to go and pick a Christmas Tree this year. They love having fun at the Christmas Tree Farms in the past: riding on the hay ride, going down the slides, feeding the goats and best of all drinking hot chocolate. But to our dismay we couldn't find a tree farm in our area. Two years ago we went to a farm in Texas and it was great! But although we couldn't find a farm, Thanksgiving point had great trees, hot wassil, cookies and best of all a REAL reindeer! We took the neighbor girls and had a blast listening to Christmas music and trying to feed the reindeer. (He wasn't really interested in eating our food. Kenzie, the animal whisperer got the closest to him.) We had a fun time and got a great tree! Merry Christmas!

Chloe loved the reindeer so much she didn't want to leave.

Kenzie and Aspen lovin' the reindeer!

Sadie and Corbyn, why won't the reindeer eat our food?

Picking our tree and goofing off a bit!

Who votes for this one??? Me, Me, Me!

Thanksgiving 2009

Nothing better than extra cooks in the kitchen!

Our yummy Thanksgiving Feast! Yummo!
I was so proud of my crossaints made from scratch! Or as Corbyn says"the old fashion way!"
Eric's Prize Turkey!
Cornbread Stuffing- our new favorite Thanksgiving stuffing.

The whole clan excited for turkey!

Loving the wishbone pull. Who will win?

This year Corb is the big winner, or as we say winner, winner "turkey" dinner!
Dessert: Yum! We had mini pies and icecream and...
Homemade pumpkin cheesecake with gingersnap crust!

Our first Thanksgiving with just our family. I was kind of bummed at first when I realized that no one was coming to visit, but it turned out really fun. It was our first year to do a turkey on our own. We watched a lot of Food Network and decided what we wanted to make for dinner. The kids all helped and it turned out delicious! We had an amazing turkey, compliments of Chef Eric, cornbread stuffing (The Neeley's recipe), regular stuffing(in case the other didn't turn out), homemade croissants, green bean casserole, and a yummy spinach salad. Oh and don't forget dessert...pumpkin cheesecake and mini apple or cherry pies. We had a great time spending the day together and although we always love to have other family on the Holidays, sometimes its great to just keep it simple. The best part was the next day we made leftover, turkey and stuffing egg rolls with cranberry-orange dipping sauce. The kids want to have turkey again just so we can make the egg rolls!

New Moon is out...that means Girls Night Out!

What a fun night of dinner and a great movie, New Moon. My friend rented out the theatre and we all bought tickets to go. (Thanks, Kiersten, can't wait until June to see Eclipse.) We went to Rubios for dinner and a fun night at the theatre of girl's screaming over Jacob and fun raffle give aways. I on the other hand am a true Edward fan so there wasn't any screaming from me. I had a great time and am blessed to have such great friends in my life! Love you guys!
