Making Gingerbread Houses with Grandma Caroline

What a fun tradition...gingerbread houses! My kids love to decorated them and use their imaginations to create whatever they want. It brings back fun traditions of my childhood inviting friends and decorating gingerbread, thanks Mom! This year was a treat because Grandma Caroline was here to enjoy the fun! She was very helpful and very creative, Corbyn really loved her help! Fun times!

This is what Chloe does when we are all busy making gingerbread houses.

How to get your kids to do chores? Train them young!

Ok all the kids take turns emptying the dishwasher so they have all trained Chloe to help them unload the dishes when it is their turn. What are big sisters and brother for? She loves to unload the dishwasher, the only bad thing is when you are loading it, she is trying to empty it. Love her!

How Much should you spend on your 1 year old for Christmas?

The answer is: About $1.00. Enough to buy a box. I could've saved some money, she like the box more than what was inside. She thought it was so funny!
Chloe loved her first snow adventure, now that she can walk in it. She was outside for thirty minutes and we had to drag her in to defrost her. She would've stayed outside all day!

Christmas 2009

What a fun Christmas! We had Caroline, Melissa, Dan, Camille, Garrett, and Colin all come for a visit. We loved spending time with all of them. We went sledding, played where's the pickle (quite a few times), went shopping, snowboarding, made awesome cajun salmon, built snow forts, made gingerbread houses, and of course enjoyed some fajitas for old times sake. We love you all and can't wait to spend time with you again. The only thing I regret is not taking more pictures. Love you!

Yummy, homemade fudge and chococlate truffels Kenzie and I made for the neighbors (we finished around 1:00am, but they were yummy!)

Calvin's Christmas Concert

Calvin played his clarrinet for his Christmas Concert. He loves being in the band and has some great friends. He did very well and we are so proud of him.
