A Fun Pioneer day with Auntie T
We had a very fun Pioneer Day on the 24th of July. It started the night before with the neighbor girls and our kids decorating bikes and Teana and me enjoying the cool weather. Saturday, we got up and were ready to go to the parade. The parade route started at the church and went through the neighborhood and ended back at the church. There was face painting, a car with patriotic music blarring from the back to lead the parade and a police officer in back for the occasional siren and honking. The kids were of course the main event, and if you have been to our neighborhood, you know their weren't many spectators because all the families were in the parade. The kids had a blast and even got the traditional rain along the way. (Just like in Texas). We ended with muffins, donuts, fruit, and juice. What a great day!

Corbyn the Violinist
Dressing up with Cousin Benji
My girls just absolutely love their cousin, Benji, especially Corbyn! He came over while Dan and Angela went to dinner, and they dressed up to their hearts content. Dan, I sorry we mostly have girl dress up, but he is so cute! Kenzie even got Blue into the dress up fun. What a sport! Benji we love you and come back soon!

Dedicated to my very talented and giving Cousin, Leigh
Thank you is not thanks enough for the amazing job my cousin did on our curtains. We had four silk panels from Pottery Barn and they were 108" but still not long enough for our windows. (Like 3 feet too short!) We didn't want to spend the money on custom curtain so my cousin said she would sew the panels together if we picked out trim to go on them. See for yourself...Gorgeous! I know they turned out to be harder than she thought and I love, love, love her for helping us out. Thank you again for all your hard work. Love ya Leigh!

A long and overdue post

In May G'ma and G'Pa came for a very fun visit. There was plenty of sewing, laughing, reading, lots of playing and more reading, especially in bed. How many monkeys can fit into the guest bed? A Lot! We are sorry it took so long to post this blog but we were so excited to spend time with G'ma and G'pa! Who wouldn't be? The girls even had fun pillows, to take anywhere and everywhere they go.
