Yeah, we won the Ortho Carving Contest!

Dr. Payne had a pumpkin carving contest for 50 payne points. Of course, the competitor that I am I had to carve a spectacular pumpkin. It really wasn't spectacular but I now have the carving bug and next year we will be having a Nicol contest. Eric is usually the carving master, rightfully so, but I think I just might give him a run for his money , next year. Or at least I know I will be able to carve better than Chloe, I hope anyways. Ha! Ha! We named it "The House of Payne!" We love our ortho's name...but he is really not too painful! We left Kenzie's eyes red to add to the whole Halloween theme! We love Halloween!

Calvin's Concert

We are so excited that Calvin's playing in his Junior High School Band. He loves playing the clarrinet and it is so fun watching him improve every day. This concert was the Halloween Concert and it was great! They had to dress up in their costumes. of course, Calvin was "Calvin and Hobbes. We also Love Pedro, I mean Andrew! Way to go Calvin!

Fun times - Conference Weekend (October)

What do you do on a cold Fall day? Go day camping of course, and don't forget the fishing. The weather was a bit unreliable so with G'ma, G'pa, Uncle Jeff and Aunt Peggy in town we decided to go fishing, but then postponed, due to snow and went to Cabela's for some indoor fun. The weather soon cleared and we were all off to Canyon Park for some good food and fishing fun. It was a little chilly but Eric & Calvin made us a fire to keep us warm and we had cocoa and smores to add to the heat. Dan & Angela were great company and we can't wait to go again. We really had a fun time with Uncle Jeff & Aunt Peggy since we don't get to see them all the time. And of course you can never go wrong with G'ma & G'pa. Fun times!

I added this clip because we all need a little laughter in our life!

So fun to spend some time with Uncle Jeff and Aunt Peggy after their mission. G'pa giving Corb a few fishing tips. Chloe's second Mom. Love your help! A little fishing fun! Well a lot of casting, but not much catching! But still fun! Benji really concentrating on catching that fish. The beautiful Fall canyon colors. Daddy and Little Missy all snuggled up. Two brothers swapping fish stories, no doubt. A little hot chocolate, smores, and a fire...what more do you need? Benji lovin' his roasted marshmellows!

Everyone loved the smores, so fun to enjoy the outdoors with the Jeff Elmers!
Even Chloe-Bo loves the smores or at least the graham crackers!
