Thank heavens for a WONDERFUL sister!

Teana is such a wonderful friend and help to me, she is going to be greatly missed. She volunteered to go and help me with the kids school parties, and with Chloe getting older it is quite a feat. She was so awesome! She helped with Chloe, passed out pizza, went and spent time with Corbyn in her class, she was a Very big help. And thats not to mention helping with the joys of lugging the stuff for both parties to and from the school! It was a great day and with her help it really made life tons easier for me. Thanks Teana I love you! I think the best was that she could go and be with Corbyn so she had someone there with her. She is always sad that I spend time in Calvin & Kenzie's classes during the parties. (She doesn't know I am really not either place because I am usually running back and forth getting people started on the next game or checking on how things are doing.) But I would love to spend time at her parties, especially the last one since Calvin & Kenzie were sick. Fun days! Teana you are the best!

Stop and enjoy the beautiful things in life

The other day I was running around trying to take care of a baby, a 7 year old,and 2 very sick kids, making phone calls and getting together everything need for two valentine parties, all while I am making dinner. (Again why am I roommom for 2 class at the same time? oh yeah, cause no one else would do it and I love my kids! But it is crazy!) Anyway, Eric called and said, "go take a picture of the sunset, I think it is the best one we've had in a while." I went outside to take a picture, and what a blessing my husband is to me, the view was spectacular! I need to stop and enjoy the beauty we are so blessed with every day, even if by force. I sure needed that pick me up to finish all the things I needed to do, and with a better attitude.

My very wonderful and talented friend, Kacey with Kacey Perry Photography, took Chloe's pictures and I wanted to dedicated these to be for Karen and her awesome and talented crocheting mania! She made this "too cute" hat for Chloe literally in a few hours while we waited for Kristin to come in town. I love that I am so lucky to have so many talented people around me.

Our Trip to Texas

The day after Christmas Chloe and I jumped on a plane and headed to Texas. My brother Aaron and Teana went through the Dallas Temple on Saturday morning. It was a wonderful ceremony and I was so glad I could be there with my brothers and family to celebrate with them. I love that Teana is in our family for eternity! It's great to have another sister. We had such a great time spending time with family, eating Mexican food, playing with cousins and having fun with friends. Thanks for the good times! We also were able to share in the excitement of Uncle Jerry and Aunt Tany's announcement of their san Jose, California Mission Call. Yeah and congratulations!
