After 18 weeks of preterm labor and lots of anticipation, Chloe entered this world at 10:01, July 2, at a whopping 5 lbs. 6 oz and 18 inches long. She was 4 weeks and 5 days early and just couldn't wait to get out and see her siblings. She spent 8 days in the NICU and I couldn't hold her for the first 4 or 5 days. She was riding the fence between breathing on a nose canula and having to have a C-PAP. She finally was put on the C-PAP and after 2 1/2 days she started breathing better. She came home at 8 days old,at 4 lbs 15 oz, when everyone got to hold her for the first time. She was quite the novelty item and I have to say 7 weeks later, she still is. We are so glad to have Chloe home and love and cherish every minute we get with her.
